One woman was forced to watch her car 24 hours a day after paying it off in full because she was still being stalked by a repo man.
Walsh thought the situation had been resolved, until two weeks after the day the check had been wired to Compass Bank. On Feb. 3, the repo man returned with orders to take her car.
Walsh refused to surrender the vehicle she had paid off in full, but feared the repo man would take the vehicle from her gated and locked driveway.
For the next two days, she and Christopher Adducci watched the vehicle 24 hours a day.
"Twenty four hours a day, one of the two of us were sitting right here at my dining room window staring out the window at my padlocked and chained gate and my car to make sure that nobody came," Walsh said.
The issues surrounding her lien were finally worked out and she was notified by her financial institution, BBVA Compass, that everything was worked out.

Chris Metaxas is the new CEO of Digital Recognition Network (DRN), a company that provides license-plate recognition systems to repo agents. In an interview with Auto Remarketing magazine, here is what Metaxas had to say about repo agents:
“For the agents, it’s time for them to step up the conversation and focused on the same thing,” Metaxas emphasized. “They need to be talking to their lenders around dollars and how they can recover dollars, because they’re in a position using our technology and the network we’ve built to not only recover dollars on the back end post-charge off, but also on the front end.”
